Our God Is Not Capricious
As I have traveled in other nations I have seen that other people often live in much fear of what the "gods" will do to them. As I was meditating recently on how loving our Heavenly Father is, I realize that so many people don't know this truth. 1 John 4:18 (NKJV) There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love. God loves us perfectly and he is not capricious. How freeing it is to know this in our hearts as well as our heads.
